Waltham (Appleton, Tracy & Co) Pocket Watch 15k+ Gold Vintage Collectible from 1866!
This is a prime 16 size vintage collectible Waltham Appleton, Tracy & Co from 1866. Has the Fogg's Safety Pinion, a nice case weighing almost 4 ounces (115 Grams) including the movement, 2 ounces (62.2 grams) for the case alone with 63.7% pure gold with computes to a Karats analysis as 15.3 or 15k+. This is 1.274 ounces of pure gold. It also is 17.7% Silver or 11 grams for a little over 1/3 ounce. Please refer to the Fischerscope gold content analysis scan for further analysis details.
This is a key wind, key set movement. The dial is extremely nice too. This model is listed in edition 25 of the Complete Guide to Watches on page 122.
