Omega 18k Constellation DeLuxe Chronometre!
Constellation Deluxe, Chronometre Officially Certified, Automatic. Vintage from the 1950's. Extremely RARE, center seconds.
Case is three-body, solid, polished and brushed, rounded bezel, slightly downturned lugs, decagonal crown, back with embossed “Observatory” logo. Dial is two-tone gold, applied faceted yellow gold dart indexes on a guilloché ground, inner minutes/seconds divisions, applied gold Omega symbol at 12, applied gold star at 6. Yellow gold “dauphine” hands. Movement is a caliber 505, copper-colored, 24 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperatures, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diameter is 35 mm. Thickness is 11 mm. Has Omega 'Snakeskin' light Brown box with enscription 'Omega Automatic Chronometre', Omega Pad & Omega 12 page Automatic Chronometer Booklet.
A couple of scans depict a non Omega bracelet on this wristwatch. The bracelet has been removed...only comes with a strap!
Has the best two-tone gold dial that we've seen in years. Exceptional condition for a 50 year old collectible wristwatch.
