One of Patek's top collectibles! Patek Philippe Reference 2526, the 'milestone' AUTOMATIC! Made in 1957! This Reference 2526 was for the FIRST self-winding wristwatches ever made by Patek Philippe.
Has the Patek Philippe factory service dial.
Yellow Gold Ref. 2526 Patek Philippe, Genève, movement number 765160, case number 2604100. Made in 1957. Very fine and rare, water-resistant, self-winding.
Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, curved bezel, screw-down case back, concave lugs, screw back, 18k gold Patek Philipppe winding crown, subsidiary dial for the seconds. Yellow gold dauphine hands. Movement is a caliber 12-600 AT, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 30 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator, 18K gold rotor. Dial, case, and movement signed. Diameter is 35 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
