IWC has produced an Aquatimer Chronograph Edition Jacques-Yves Cousteau to mark what would be Cousteau’s 100th birthday. To mark his 100th birthday, celebrated on the June 11 2010, IWC Schaffhausen has long supported the Cousteau Society, and now has created a fifth special edition dedicated to the legendary ocean explorer. Cousteau was a pioneer of underwater research and championed greater protection for the world’s oceans. IWC has long supported Cousteau’s foundation named the Cousteau Society.
