The Gruen Watch Company dates back to 1874 and eventually became one of the premier watch companies in the U.S. Through the next century, Gruen introduced many new innovations and concepts into the watch industry and subsequently prospered up into the late forties. With the death of the founder in 1948 and his sons in the early fifties, the company began its decline into eventual bankruptcy in 1976. Since that time, the Gruen name has been purchased and it is once more appearing on high quality watches – many with very attractive styling and high quality Swiss movements. I have purchased several Swiss Gruens and enjoy wearing all of them. Unfortunately though, I find that I have to cut my collection back a bit to make room in my display case. I am selling this Like-New, men's Gruen Swiss Quartz Swiss Quartz Movement watch with the following features: · All Stainless Steel Construction · 50mm Water Resistance · Stainless Steel Signature Bracelet with gold-plated inserts · Gold-plated Crown with signature "G" · Transparent Seconds Subdial · Signature "G" on easy-open buckle · White Dial with Gold hands and markings · Gold bezel shaped with 12 sides · Guilloche-Texturing of the dial resembles rays from the sun · Length of case including lugs = 49mm · Width of case (not including crown) + 38mm · Thickness of case = 8mm · Sized to my wrist but removed links will be included I’m asking $45 OBO plus $5 USPS shipping in CONUS I accept and prefer PayPal with no surcharge.
