This is an absolutely beautiful Hamilton mechanical (hand wind) watch that seems to have avoided the ravages of time nicely. It could easily pass for a watch only a couple of years old. The entire case, including the back, is gold and shows no brassing or wear through. The dial is an off-color white with maybe a tinge of gold and has gold hands and markings. It also has a second’s sub-dial, the Hamilton logo and name, and the word “Swiss”. The gold snap-on case back has the Hamilton name along with the lettering “10 K RGP”, and the crown has the Hamilton logo. The band is an expansion type, common in that era, and appears to be the original – it looks like it is gold plated also and is in very good condition. I’ve only worn this watch a couple of times and it appeared to be accurate. I bought it 2nd hand and so do not have service history. I’m selling it because I’ve accumulated too many watches and don’t ever get around to wearing this one. I hate to see it go but need the space in my watch display case. This attractive watch features, • Hand Wind Swiss Movement • Snap-on Gold Back • 10K Gold Plated Case and Bracelet • Off-color White/Light Gold Dial • Gold Hands and Dial Markings • Expansion Bracelet – Probably Original I appreciate the history of a watch of this quality and would like it to go to someone who has the same admiration for these finely crafted pieces. I’ve seen prices as high as $100.00 being asked for comparable ones but am only asking $65.00 OBO plus $5 for shiping. I accept/prefer PayPal with no surcharge. My PayPal ID: "chucks@tcq.net". I would also accept a personal check or money order but shipment would be held until it clears. PayPal payments would get a “next day” shipment. An international sale is possible but I will not falsify the US Customs form for an international sale.
