Consider Delivered?
Hello guys,
I have a question I hope to hear your comments and opinions.
Assuming seller sent a package to an overseas buyer but buyer claims the package did not arrive. However, both seller?s and buyer?s postal agents confirm that the package was delivered, is this a good enough on seller side?
Of course we have to assume that seller sent it to the addressee and address provided by the buyer.
What I think is that the seller?s job is considered done if he has followed the instructions of the buyer by sending it to the correct addressee and address provided. In addition, the buyer?s postal agent has confirmed that the package was indeed delivered to the address and someone at the address has signed for it. The seller couldn?t possibly control who is at the address to receive the package and if the recipient (family members or colleagues) misplaced it or worst, kept it for himself.
