TOKYO — Citizen Watch Co and U.S. watchmaker Fossil Inc have jointly developed and started production of wrist watches for use in North America that are capable of receiving news, weather and other information, the Japanese watchmaker said Wednesday.
The Wrist Net watch enables users who subscribe to a Microsoft Corp wireless service to receive updates on business and sports news, weather forecasts and stock prices, Citizen said. (Kyodo News)
