Richemont: licensing agreement for the production of Ferrari watches.

Fans of Michael Schumacher and his team will soon be able to wrist Ferrari watches made by Panerai.

The group of luxury Richemont concluded a licensing agreement with the car manufacturer to produce watches under the Italian brand. The agreement relates to the development, manufacture and the sale of the Ferrari watches, as indicated by Richemont Group.

It is the Italian brand, Panerai, subsidiary of the Richemont Group, which will develop the products. The first collection should be presented at spring 2006. Richemont, controlled by the South-African family Rupert, holds in its wallet several prestigious manufactures of watches of which Cartier, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, A. Lange & Söhne or Piaget and Vacheron Constantin?
