Sincere Watch, Singapore's famous luxury watches retailer, unveiled here on Thursday a world exclusive watch collection from 13 top global watch brands.
The collection, worth 45 million Singapore dollars (about 28.5 million U.S. dollars), is featuring timepieces of top watchmaking brands mainly coming from Switzerland, including Audemars Piguet, Bovet, Corum, Franck Muller, LUC and so on.
Visitors who enjoy luxury-brand shopping and connoisseurs who appreciate unique and definitive watches will be able to view the collection at the Hilton Shopping Gallery from Friday to next Tuesday.
Such a collection "will enhance Singapore's stature as a world- class luxury watch hub," said Chan Tat Hon, assistant chief executive of the Singapore Tourism Board.
According to figures from the Federation of Swiss Watch Industry, Asia accounts for almost half of all Swiss watch sales in the world. The top three markets for Swiss watches in Asia include Japan, China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Singapore.
The total value of Swiss watches sold in Singapore in the first half year rose to 320.5 million Singapore dollars (about 202.8 million U.S. dollars), up 13 percent from the same period last year.
