"Tout ou rien" - everything or nothing - and always a goal in focus: this is Daniel Dreifuss' motto. His aim is not to reinvent the wheel. He wants to transform timepieces into sensuous companions, to take challenges head on, to win aficionados for Maurice de Mauriac watches and fire up their enthusiasm.
Two new creations ...
Many creative people have visions, but only few can turn them into reality. With his Maurice de Mauriac brand, Daniel Dreifuss made his dream come true in 1997. On the occasion of Baselworld 2006, he has enriched his collection with the Roman Black Beauty moon-phase watch and an all-new Classic Chronograph Modern model. Inspired by this year's black-and-white trend, both models reflect a space-age technology look with their black titanium oxide coating.

Both models are exceptionally sleek. The male touch underscores not only a men's stamina but also a woman's stronger sides. "Tout ou rien" is also the epigram of the Maurice de Mauriac brand. No wonder then, that both new watches harmonize well with a black satin-finished steel bracelet or an extra-wide power strap. With persistence and self-confidence, Maurice de Mauriac has elevated the power strap to a chic accessory that comes in various versions from genteel Louisiana crocodile to sporty leather styles with hook-and-loop fasteners. All leather straps are hand-crafted in Geneva by specialized professionals.

The Roman Black Beauty and the new Classic Chronograph Modern are available in cases with diameters of 39, 42, and 45 mm. The dial is protected by a sapphire-crystal glass anti-reflection coated on both sides. The display back reveals interesting views of the highly accurate movement. Both models have screw-down crowns and a power reserve of 42 hours.
Customers can choose from a range of supple-link steel bracelets as well as leather, wide power croc or traditional straps to personalize their Maurice de Mauriac watch.
All Maurice de Mauriac chronographs were on display at Baselworld 2006.
